The Gauteng Department of Social Development is offering internships in Occupational Health and Safety. These positions aim to provide unemployed youth with essential workplace experience to help them transition into formal employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain hands-on experience in occupational health and safety practices
• Support institutional efforts in safety management and compliance
• Be willing to be placed across any corridor or institution within the department
• Assist in implementing and monitoring safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

• National Diploma (ND) or Degree in Safety Management NQF Level 5 SAMTRAC Certificate is required
